PfMP is a Professional Program Management certification developed and issued by PMI. Program Management is defined as the management of multiple projects, programs and operations in a coordinated way, achieving an organization’s strategic objectives.
To take the PfMP certification exam, candidates need to demonstrate all the prerequisites:
- With a four-year degree:
- 96 months of professional business experience within the last 15 years, and
- 48 months of portfolio management experience
- With secondary degree (High School diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent):
- 96 months of professional business experience within the last 15 year, and
- 84 months of portfolio management experience
