PgMP is a Professional Program Management certification developed and issued by PMI. Program Management is defined as the management of multiple related projects in a coordinated way, achieving benefits that could not occur if the projects were handled separately.
To take the PgMP certification exam, candidates need to demonstrate all the prerequisites:
- With a four-year degree:
- 48 months of project management experience or PMP
- 48 months of program management experience within the past 15 years
- With secondary degree (High School diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent):
- 48 months of project management or PMP ownership experience
- 84 months of program management experience within the past 15 years
