PSPO Exam Preparation Course

The accountabilities of the Product Owner go well beyond managing the Product Backlog and writing User Stories. The Product Owner is pivotal to bridging business strategy and product execution in order to help the Scrum Team create valuable products.

The 2-day Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) training program focuses on the core knowledge mentioned above to guide participants how to maximize the value of software products and systems. The course is considered as to be essential for Product Owners, Agile Scrum product managers, and those who are responsible for the product's success in the marketplace. During the course, participants will develop and solidify their knowledge of the Scrum framework and the accountabilities of being a Product Owner through instruction and team-based exercises. From an Agile standpoint, the PO’s the scope of responsibility in delivering a successful product becomes clearer. The metrics are defined to track the value creation and successfully distribute of the product in the market.

The program is not limited to knowledge in lectures, but with the guidance of experienced trainer, this will be an opportunity for participants to practice on real projects, discuss, do the exercises, and solve the situations that the team often encounters.

Target Audience:

The PSPO course is essential for individuals who are involved in developing software based on the Scrum framework, especially for those who are responsible for the product from a business perspective and product management, as well as those who want to gain the higher role of the Scrum Product Owner.

Certification: All participants completing the Professional Scrum Product Owner course receive a password to take the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) assessment. You are also entitled to a discount on the PSPO II and PSPO III assessment once passing PSPO I.

To pass the PSPO I assessment, participants need to meet a minimum passing score of 85%.

PDU: Participants are able to claim 14 PDUs credit for Project Management Institute (PMI) after attending a two-day Professional Scrum Master (PSPO) course. Please note that PMI PDUs are earned for course attendance and not for passing a Scrum.org assessment. Participants can claim PDUs under PMI's "Education courses provided by other third-party providers” category. You can claim your PDUs online at https://ccrs.pmi.org.

About the trainer:

Naveen Kumar Singh is a Lean Agile Coach and Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) working in India and Asia Pacific under Agilemania. He comes with over 23 years of experience in software and product development and has worked with many leading organizations across the world in different roles and positions, starting from Software Engineer to Delivery Head. Naveen is a Certified LeSS Practitioner (Large-Scale Scrum) and has coached organizations and teams on large scale agile transformation. He is one of the early adopters of DevOps practices and teaches DevOps culture, practices and automation tools to technical teams in Asian countries.
